Idols are dump, and they are the hand work of ''evil''--bible says so. Here one section goes above that and says idol speaks. I think the ''devils of Babylon'' have come alive. When u dont even know how Mary look or looked,,painting or creating some face out of ur imagination may take those prayers to some one who is not the real Mary, but the one there or someone who resembles the picture or idol. In this age and period I think more will happen. Angels fear to tread where DEVILS dare to walk

@8morenika8 Mary didnt convince Christ to do the miracle. Jesus bluntly refused saying ''his time hasn't come''. Then when his time came according to the will of GOD he miracle was done and not because of Mary's recommendation. Who is Mary is recommend when something is not the WILL of God. .I am not here to criticise you and ur faith. But the whole purpose of Christ coming is killed. Father, son and spirit(holy).Father-creator, Son- redemption, holy spirit- intercession. Thats Christianity.

@8morenika8 Asking a dead to pray for you is not supported by bible,,. There is only one name to whom u can pray . Thats Christ. Anything thats asked in the name of CHRIST alone willbe answered'' the bible says. NO one goes to GOD without Christ. HE IS THE WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE and not Mary. There is only one name for which the authority is given and thats Christ. I am surprised u r talking about ''HIS ''' Blood. Nice to hear that.Good, i expected ''her''blood(ha ha ah ha)., her crucification,,,

@sureshwilliams4u And so you know - we don't expect Mary to redeem us. I see that you know nothing about Catholicism. My mum died a few years ago. If I talk to her and ask her to pray for me from time to time, does it make her my idol? No. We ask Mary to PRAY for us. She convinced Jesus to make a miracle at the Wedding although He told her it wasn't His time. She is FULL of grace. You won't understand, if you don't have the will to understand but scorn. Keep looking though.

@sureshwilliams4u I'll stay with my Church because it has something that no Protestant Church has - His Blood and Body in the Holy Communion. Early Christians believed in real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Read st.Ignaitus of Antioch Letter to the Smyrnaeans, paragraph 6. circa 80-110 A.D. And next time you ask somebody to pray for you, remember it's like us asking Mary to pray for us. It's never a direct prayer like to God. We're not stupid. We know the difference.

@8morenika8 Mother feels the pain of her child being crucified,but what about the child who underwent the crucification for the sake of idolators like you, the Catholics who bend before idols? Why dont this Catholic section stop seeing the pain of mary and see the pain of Christ and the purpose of his coming to earth? Why not these Idolators accept Christ as the way,truth and life? Christ mocked idols and this section are praying to an idol in the name of Mary. Who redeems i doubt,

@ahhhhhhh83 Well, you didn't do your homework. Catholics do not consider Mary as God. If you had a child, you would understand why we think that she deserves a special place within our Church. Imagine your child being murdered in fornt of your eyes. If your suffering and sacrifices are cherished by Jesus, do you think hers are not above any human suffering? Jesus gave His Mother to St. John right before his death. So why is it such a controversy for Protestants that she's so important to us?
