Polaris Flies videos answers a question as to what N.E.W. Fly Tying Materials are and how they differ from the others that are on the market. While you can't compare apple with oranges, neither can one compare fly tying materials, except for the individual qualities of each one.

  • The movement of the NEW Fly Tying Material (and Pearl-Curl) in the water is fantastic, as I designed the cut of the materials to give it more action.

All of my customers love it, many first time tyers have found it easy to work with while getting violent strikes from large fish. Often when they miss a strike, the fish will return for another take on future casts.

Combine my NEW FTM with my holographic bodies and cut heads and there are no better flies on the market. Great for trolling!

  • i have to get me some of that N.E.W material

  • It does have it's own drawbacks, as I have mentioned it is a shreaded fim, not a real fiber. While it has terrific iridescent shine, the flies don't last forever. I will have a future video coming up on how to strengthen the flies.
