THIS VIDEO ONLY SHOWS HOW IT WAS DONE BUT ALSO PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE TO THOSE UP AND COMING MAGICIANS/ILLUSIONISTS AN INSIGHT TO PRACTICE AND POSSIBLY PERFORM BIGGER AND BETTER TRICKS ONE DAY. WITH THAT SAID: TO ALL YOU NEGATIVE "YOUTUBERS" TO LEAVE ME A NASTY MESSAGE...PLEASE...To those who just wanna enjoy some crazy stuff, watch and pay close attention when Criss climbs out of the manhole there are pavement scrapes from the manhole lid at the LEFT and and the TOP. When Criss does his "distraction" walk around, a fake manhole is placed about two feet away from the original manhole out of the camera's view. When Criss rolls up the manhole, notice there are no pavement scrapes. Only the scrapes that were at the top are visible but now it is located UNDER the fake manhole. Conveniently, the camera does not scroll down far enough thus, keeping the original manhole out of view. Also, the original manhole lid has the words "storm drain" engraved on it. Try to locate them when Criss rolls it up. Sorry for poor video.

could of put down a large mat with a sticker on it while they walked off of it for a second... or one of the other 5 ideas people have said.. lol but some of his tricks you can't explain without video editing

Yea, I noticed all the different settings between the two. But how did he actually do it? Camera tricks were definitely involved, but the question is still, HOW?! He wasn't moving that much and the background still looked pretty much the angle as the the beginning. I don't understand. He's still awesome to me.

Can somebody tell me how he did it? Instead of figuring out the differences in the setups?

If you look you can see white stuff like a lot of bird poop on the sewer thing he crawled out of and then the camera goes away out of view while some one puts down the fake mat and then he goes and rolls it up.

You can tell its fake and the real sewer hole is behind the mat. When he first gets out there is white stuff at the top of the sewer thing, then when he goes back and rolls it up, you can see the white stuff is below the new sewer matt

Okay firstly , the real hole has scratches near it on the ground when he scratched the lid on there and if u look at the second " hole" it shows no scratch marks !
