Simorgh Band Part 4,Notthinghill Gate Art Club

Simorgh Band is a group of young persian musicians gathered to celebrate and perform traditional persian music.I found their music rather different from other Sonnati music,mostly because of its strong beat and hip hop singing and I think this is why their music is popular with iranian youth.surely our traditional music has changed in every century according to Iran and world's events. But it seems today's music masters want to keep it the way it is and I believe that's the reason why the majority of iranian young people are not interested in traditional music and think of it as something that belongs to the past .Simorgh is the saviour of this cultural treasure and every Iranian should appreciate what they do.
