jp 2 went to confession on a weely basis. no biggie. The re-esablishment of peter as head of the apostles in johns gospel says it all. and he does not mention any other apostlet o "feed my sheep" It is only peter the rock

I feel sorry for you. You believe that God did not create a Church which would be the pillar and foundation of the truth. The Church being made up of MEN of course.

And how pray tell, is this pillar and foundation of the truth (Church/group of humans)supposed to teach error when the truth cannot contain error or it would not be the truth?

Oh thats right, the pillar and foundation of the truth is Scripture alone. Yet Scripture doesn't say that. But then Calvin knew better LOL

instead of defining rock we should be defining love and see what it means to truly love God..

I have one other thing to say.. do you really think that God is going to make salvation this complicated that each individual needs to know 7 different languages to understand what the heck "rock' means your little mind is working to hard.. in the end God will look at mans heart and see if he repented and obeyed the lords commands and loved God with all his heart.. plain and simple your church will not save u.. ur love for God will.

peter does have a role but not the role catholics have made it to be you have made peter see Gods throne! you teach apart from the pope there is no salvation.. these are the issues orthodox dont debate weather there should be a pope of primacy but surely not of supremacy.. when ever in history has man been successful in a dictatorship man is too faliable to filled with sin to have so much power and the corruption in the church is evident of that today.. by their fruits u will know them...

Also If we look at mattias, a lot of gather prayer was done, and in the case of Paul and Banabas, we see the laying on of the hands...well thats basically the way we still elect bishops.

@MrNickKane Sry I will not give up any of the faith of the marytrs and fathers, to do so what be completley abondon the body of Christ...I will not fall for some modernistic nighmarish view of fasle ecumentism, There is a right way to practise ecumentism, like the different practises of the 5 holy sees, thoe they all had the same dogma, I will not let dogmas fall for unity. Such things are the works of Satan.
