In this video, Dr. Domenico Lombardi, President of OXONIA and Non-Resident Senior Fellow of the Brookings Institution, discusses the suitability of the G20 as a forum to discuss issues of broad macro-economic relevance in a time of global crisis. After two meetings, the G20 has shown that it has potential to be a driver of reform of the IFIs, specifcally the IMF and World Bank. Dr. Lombardi notes the G20 has provided considerable political capital in the IFIs, that has drmatically declined in previous decades.

  • Ciao Mimmo, indovina chi sono?

    Bravo cugginastro!!!

    Ciao

    D. Lombardi

  • B.R.I.C. could with help from other organisations like ASEAN and OIC set up their own version of the IMF. Whats the point of whinging and whining about votes in an obviously elitist uncaring organisation?
