Smallville: Lois & Clark - True to Your Heart

This is my last video of 2008!! I worked ALL day to get it done in time! However, this is not the last vid I started, I still have a few unfinished projects that I'll hopefully finish soon. But I chose this one for a few reasons...a) I wanted a fun vid for my last of the year and b) this is for a contest so I'm under a deadline, lol.

Anyway, I made this for GoldStar1113's Smallville 90s Contest! I love the 90s...It's the first decade that I lived through so it'll always be my favorite decade, haha. Well finding a good 90s song did prove to be a bit of a challenge but in the end I thought this song was perfect not only for a 90s song but for Lois & Clark!

Lois is Clark's destiny and she has to be true to her heart and allow herself to love him. This song says it all and I think it is just perfect for where their relationship is heading in the long run. I tried to match everything as contextually as possible because this song is just that perfect for them! Especially at the lines "deep in my soul I know that I'm your destiny," "Baby I see your future and it's tied to mine" and "someone you know is on your side, can set you free. I can do that for you if you believe in me." for that last line I used the times where Clark has saved Lois without her knowing (kinda like how it'll be when he wears the cape and is Superman) and of course I had to use the 'Identity' scenes because that is when Lois admits she believes in the red and blue blur :)

However, I underestimated how difficult this vid would be to make. I have higher standards for each vid I make and I wanted to match the upbeat tempo of this song. Given that it has 4 verses and 4 choruses, it was a challenge to match all the lyrics with different scenes...or different parts of scenes. I literally used ALL the episodes Lois & Clark have ever shared a scene in and there's only 2 or 3 scenes that I can think of that I didn't use in this vid. But it was totally worth all my hard work because I got to use almost all the Lois & Clark scenes I've never used before so that was a lot of fun :)

I'm getting a bit bored with my traditional square border so again I tried something new. I like this look, at least for this video and I hope you all do to!!

I REALLY hope you all like this video!! I worked EXTREMELY hard on this to get it just right and I think it might be my best Lois & Clark vid yet but that's really up to you all to decide, lol. Anyway, PLEASE RATE, COMMENT and ENJOY :D
