Currently I am taking Citalopram. I'm taking lower than the recommended dose because I'm very sensitive to small changes in my body. As I've learned with medicines in the past, too much of the medicine actually makes my anxiety worse. Plus the small dose allows me to still work with my anxiety while taking the edge off. I wish all of you the best of luck. Never give up.
@gcnguyen I agree. Medicine certainly doesnt solve half of it. But it takes the edge off. Good luck to you too. =)

@MrSmithm3 Thanks! I'm actually doing a whole lot better. I can handle work now and a day in the life is now liveable! I still get occasional anxiety, but nowhere near as bad as it was before. SO thankful for that. Its so nice being able to just BE, ya know what I mean? =)

Sure, there's medicines and shrinks out there that may provide a temporary relief - but ultimately it's up to you to confront the long term problems. I have depression, but I'm fighting my way back slowly. Good luck to you.
