@enzeth Is this a cellular automaton, or is it some other kind of evolving scalar field? It looks like some kind of chaotic system to me, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.

@jarblewarble Good morning. It's made in a program called artmatic (for the mac). It's one of those making art with numbers thing (in reality it's more like pressing the "randomize all" button, and hope for the best... thing...)
It can also produce basic sounds and in this I think it's a brownian noise and a swirly thing, not real fractal... it's been years since I made it and I hardly knew what I was doing at the time... It's really just an early experiment... =)

@wintrglittr Morning, the visuals and graphics are made with the same mathematical equations, that's why I called it SYNTHETIC synesthesia... I know very well that it isn't real... I have mild synesthesia myself...
