The finale scene when she finally leaves made me take a major decision in my life,
We cant stay in one place just because is safe, we have to follow what we want, look for independence

It's kinda sad. Nate ended up worse at the end of the show than the beginning, because he gave in and played it safe as his Dad's shadow. His death inspired Claire not to repeat the same mistake.

Nate had one of the saddest story arcs I'd ever seen: Married a woman he didn't really love. That woman was possibly unfaithful and died before he could find out the truth. Finally marries the woman he wanted only for her to miscarry and she bleeds out during the whole wedding. Finally finds the right woman but dies before he could start a life together and before seeing his unborn child. I didn't realize how depressing this show was till after it was over
