this is normally :) my dads 300d has nearly 400000km and makes the same sound!!!

@RussianNikolai you can run these engines on corn oil, aft fluid, some times motor oil if its filtered and mixed with diesel. if you do a 75% corn oil 25% diesel mix this noise goes away. other then that all i can suggest is a diesel purge. this is just the typical noise of a mercedes diesel.

normal sound fine engine! you can drive 50 % plantoil in the fuel. that makes the engine less noisy, need such a engine cheap, do you know where to buy it?

HI, I have the same car. W124 '87 Turbodiesel and had the same noise. I replaced the injectors but the noise is still there. Sounds exactly like this one on the video. Any suggestions? Thanks!
