Okay, look, I see this a lot, so hopefully this will clear things up:
So was Ziggy. Ziggy was totally fake and manufactured. THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT.

just listened to queen bitch about six times today. LOUD. in my car. blew me brains out. as it always does. mick on his mean electro machine is brutal. primitive. violent as hell. not precise. rough. nasty and loud. acquire it. then play it at volume eleven.

good point pinster! bowies version was not a product of PRE marketing. the PRODUCT CREATED THE MARKET through bowie and his handler's efforts. gaga created herself too! what marketer would touch her with a ten foot pole if SHE hadnt created the product herself first?

FUCK YEAH! the intro to queen bitch is the best rock song intro i ever heard. and ive heard a LOT! havent we all. that acoustic to electric machine guitar is meaningful. the olden to the new in 10 seconds is exciting as hell and fucking sweet. i wonder if jack black would agree? i BETCHA ten mill he would.

Agreed. The album is as much Mick's as it is Bowie's both in the arrangements and in the incredible sound of the guitars. Mick was a genius.

does ya! sweet! i fucking LOVE ziggy stardust. this doc is illuminating. i didnt realize that bowie actually BECAME the fictional ziggy. of course he did. we LOVED ZIGGY. loved loved loved the man. and the album. isnt QUEEN BITCH superb? the intro is mind blowing. a sweet acoustic riff followed by mick ronson's monstrously metallic machine riff. PLAY FUCKING LOUD. really fucking loud. 11 loud. not ten. 11.
