the coffee grounds will be good suppresent for weeds we got guiness hops in a similar way.

I have a request! Ask Joel to make a " gardening for beginners" video showing the best veggies to start out with and what to do to prep the ground and how to care for a new garden... I am clueless, but I really want to grow some yummy stuff this year!!

@GrimGrinningLily Some yards have fences others don't, there is no fence between us and the people directly behind us, and none between us and one of our side neighbors... to build one would cost money and we would rather spend it on gardening!

I am totally jealous. I want a garden. I grew tomatoes on my balcony last year... here in Germany - for people who live in the cities and can't have a garden - one can rent a big section of a city garden with a fence around it - and a little wooden hut where you can have tea or whatever - it's cool - I'm considering renting one next year... :-D
