Beagle Rolling in the Grass

My dad took some footage of our beagle in the backyard. The little guy really gets into his grass-rolling. He always has to find the exact right spot to rub his face against the ground, then his shoulder. Then he rolls onto his back so his belly faces the sky. I can't help but smile when I watch him; he just looks so happy, basking in the dry grass and the sunshine. His head looks so funny when his ears flop around and his belly wriggles and squirms. Silly boy.

We first got him when his original owner had to give him up because she was moving to an apartment. He was five years old. His first day, he squeaked in the saddest voice I'd ever heard, but we bonded with him amazingly fast. He's just so funny and so cuddly, and so mischievous!
