Hank Drum (made from a propane-tank) -- Ake Bono scale -- Dennis Havlena

NOTE: I just listened to this video on a laptop --- DO NOT
listen to it on a laptop -- sounds terrible!! NOTHING like
the real thing!! Listen to it on a good desk-top setup.
I built this hank drum over the 7/4/09 holiday weekend.
Despite the 8 note ring,
it turned out a lot nicer than I'd imagined. Scale is "Ake Bono". Overall tuning
is a bit higher-pitched than "normal" (the "ding" is at about D#). Reason for this
is because the thing is not yet fine-tuned. Again, this is merely a short video to
illustrate how this particular scale sounds on the hank drum & is not intended
to be a "performance".

The "Ake Bono" note layout is the same as on a Hang and Halo drum.
