  • Thanks clarebannerman. Actually I would have had a wonderful recording of Frank and Flora McDonald singing one of his risque tunes, but he saw my recorder and asked me to turn it off so he could be free to use the words for the ballad that he preferred but was not intended for innocent ears. I turned it off. Happily.

  • Terrific and thanks for posting. Where is that from (I see that it seems to be part of a bigger program). Frank Harte was a great singer/collector. I took a singing course with him at the Augusta festival in West Virginia. I can't sing but it was wonderful to listen to Frank.
