Headline: MCI WorldCom Files Wireless Antitrust Charges in Europe

MCI WorldCom has filed a complaint with the European Commission claiming antitrust violations by 5 wireless companies in 3 countries.

Among the companys cited in the complaint are Deutsche Telekom, Mannesmann and KPN Royal Dutch Telecom.

WorldCom claims the three telecom giants, along with Netherlands-based Libertel and Swedens Comviq, overcharge on access fees to companies like WorldCom who use land-based networks.

MCI WorldCom is under anti-trust scrutiny about its 129 billion dollar deal to merge with rival Sprint FON Group.
