My very first art journal flip-through of my latest art journal. Sorry for the shakiness here and there (I've since found my tripod) and how shiny some things are showing. I'll do better next time.

So many questions to answer...Muishkas, this is a Mokeskine sketch book journal. Great thick pages that stand up to most everything.
MusicGivesmeasmile, I downloaded it from iTunes. I have a lot of Gary Go's music and every bit of it is awesome.
ArtsyChik & Lastoldlady, thanks so much for your compliments. I use any paints Most of these paints are the 2/$1 craft paints from WalMart. My pages are shiny because I coat them as I "glue" things down with gloss gel medium (Golden's is the best, IMO.)

Really nice! Thanks for sharing! I'm trying to get going on one of my own but it seems so intimidating...also, may I ask, did you use prompts for this, and if so can you recommend a source?

@Shaysailor @Shaysailor Don't be intimidated. It's not complicated...it's fun and therapeutic and joyful. I mean that...pure joy. And no, I don't tend to ever use prompts but like a more organic approach to art journaling. That is just me. If you need some prompts to get you started, that is great. Oh my gosh - i just adore your journal - it is jam packed with so much colour, inspiration and juiciness! I'm in awe of it. I was also thrilled to see a couple of my girl faces in there! Sooooo cool!

@creativeboho Violette, thank you so much!~ I have been so inspired by you and love your book, the first one I ever bought on art journaling. I also love your faces so much. Your art style is so wonderful so I had to include a bit of it in my journal...reminding me of why I started art journaling. :)
