Renovations announced for Capri Theater in North Minneapolis

Plymouth Christian Youth Centers Executive Director Anne Long and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak unveiled plans for the first phase of upgrades that will be made to the Capri Theater this year.

At a press conference held onstage at the Capri on Thursday, Jan. 28, Long said improvements to the 240-seat theater will include enhanced sound and lighting in the auditorium, an expanded and renovated lobby that will provide a better visual connection between the theater and West Broadway, as well as a retrofitted marquee and exterior lighting that will create more pizzazz along the avenue.
