  • Awesome! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

  • Jesus wants a "personal" relationship with You .

    You need "no man" between Him and you!

    Heb 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds

    1 Tim 2:5-6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

  • As husband and wife we bare witness that God does live and cares for us. we are a simple couple and yet we are Sealed (married for TIME AND ALL ETERNITY). Jesus IS OUR SAVIOR AND REDEEMER. we know for surety that THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS IS TRUE. WE KNOW THAT THOMAS S MONSON IS THE TRUE AND LIVING PROPHET IN THESES LATTER DAYS AND THAT HE IS ORDAINED BY GOD. WE BARE TESTIMONY OF THESE THINGS HUMBLY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST

    AMEN,

  • @PorterRockwellX Christians believe the universal church is the body of Chirst not a biulding that says church of Jesus Christ on the building. Now for local churches what where some called in the new testiment? One example is "The church of God in Corinth" 1 Cor 1:2. I guess this local biblical church is not a true church since it does not say the Church of Jesus Christ?

  • @laur18t The "Gospel of Jesus Christ" has always been found in the New Testament of the Bible and always will be. You don't need another book or gospel to show it to you and lead you astray. Now if Mormonism wasn't so afraid of the Bible and held it in such suspicious contempt casting doubt with how "untrustworthy" the Bible is, perhaps with changes to Mormon doctrine they could be considered Christian. Until that time Mormonism will remain a cult.

  • @theamazingmike01 No you're just repeating what you've been told in church. The bible does not prophesy of the BoM. What about all the, ahem, "modern revelation" that is in direct contradiction to the Bible, like section 132 of the D&C and polygamy, for example, or temple ordinances? That IS all an addition to the bible and is not compatible with Biblical Chrisitinaity.

  • @waterplo12 Beautifully said!

  • @TheWeerdDude But the next "prophet" of the church is always the one in seniority over the 12, right? I'm curious tho since Mormonism claims to follow the "organization that existed in the primitive church." Where did Jesus have quorums of 70's? If he did who were they - we knew who the 12 plus were. Why doesn't Mormonism also follow the rest of the 6th article of faith? Where are the pastors, teachers and evangelists? I don't think Jesus called Bishops or stake presidents either.

  • @praestant8 It is divine appointment because they are divinely appointed to their callings as one of the apostles and in the 70 before they become prophets.

  • @chelssee. Christian believe in a heaven and hell. We do not believe that being saved or our salvation comes from anything we do but from the sacrifice and the shedding of blood on the cross (not the garden). We believe that we are saved by grace alone. Not after all we can do. For our righteous works are like filty rags. We are called to love our neighbor and God with all our heart but that comes after being saved and after our salvation has been secured.

  • @chelssee. The problem is that the Bible says the only way to get to the Father is through Jesus. It would be irresponsible for a Christian not to share the truth about Jesus with people in the Hinduism faith for fear of looking like they sound like "hate speach" to the person that they are talking to. A Christian will share out of love because they want the other person to be saved and be with God in eternity. Christians do not believe in the Three kingdoms or outer darkness like the LDS.
