I have both the 40d and the 50d ... in my opinion the 40d is more value for money ... even though you do get quite a few upgrades on the 50d ... depends what you want to use it for .

This is a really nice camera. I still have the old 20D and its more than enough. The only reason I'd change is if the 20D broke.
