I've been looking for a good E.III Eindecker. I was wondering if you could tell me if its scratch built. If its a kit could you tell me the manufacturer or where the plans are from? All the other kits I've seen have ailerons. It looks great! I would love to see it flying.

I'm impressed that anyone would go to such lengths- my hat's off to you and I love the Fokker Eindecker series of Aircraft. By the way, on a full scale aircraft would the wings only move that small amount when warped? I thought it might be more pronounced, but I've always wondered and never saw any video reference until now! Thanks! Over Flanders Fields- WWI flight simulator that is worth checking out for all you WW1 aircraft fans.

It's actually surprising how little you need.

It is from A Balsa USA Kit (Which has ailerons, elevators, rudder etc)- but heavily modified for wing warping and full floating tail surfaces.

It flys suprisingly well, infact much like an aileron model. Don't believe half the stories you hear about wing-warping. The wings are warped by a single standard servo. The top wires run ove a pulley in the centre the bottom wires attach to a brass cross piece operated by the servo.
Where can I check out you plane?
