The dumbbell row is an excellent exercise to strengthen and add size to the latissimus dorsi. It's important to get a full stretch at the bottom of the movement in order to work the muscle fully. If not, one will not gain desired results.
thx for the vid! I've also been told to do this exercise as replacement for both pullups (since I cant do these at home) and armcurls (these hurt a lot, but I've only a 20kg dumbbell & that's too heavy for curls atm)
