A truly magnificent voice! A tragedy that he should have died so young - such a great loss to his family and to the world. Great, though, that we still have wonderful memories of him on film and record.

Just beautiful. What a range Mario had! His voice was and continues to be through the venues of film, audio recordings and via YouTube one of the most heavenly and enchanting I have ever heard. Thank you so much for sharing this recording. It is not only one of my favorite songs, but sung by a favorite singer. Only a very few singers are blessed with such a vocal range and the ability to make the lyrics meaningful and personal to the listener.
