Samsung Continuum Software Overview

The most exciting element of the Continuum to talk about is the ticker screen. Samsung has created what they call a grip sensor, which will automatically turn on only the ticker screen when the phone is picked up in ones hands. This is an extremely convenient method to quickly checking if you have new messages, email, social networking notifications, or even check up on your RSS feeds. Such a process makes quickly getting in and then getting out possible.

I really think the ticker is a good idea. Like if you're in the movies and you just wanna make sure haven't missed any calls or anything. Because I hate it when I'm in the movies and all I can think about is the guy in my peripheral vision with his bright phone lit up.

That ticker is a great idea, I'm actually surprised no one has come up with it before now. Kudos to Samsung, they are really becoming a major contender in the smart phone game.

I here reviewers say that Touch Wiz isn't for everyone a lot, but what about Sense, and Motoblur. They aren't for everyone either, and there are a lot of things great about all of them. I love Sense's home navigation, and some interface features, but I love Touch Wiz's web browser experience.
