The newest version of N64 does not cover this. Either that, or the file I downloaded was a different type with very little codes inputted. Also, a ROM is not what you use for an emulator, a ROM is the file-type used in most older game cartridges, such as the early Zelda series. Anyways, thank you for covering the answer to the 'suit colors' effect. It gets annoying trying to answer that question all the time.

@towerkeeper117 you might have "1964" instead of Project 64. As far as I know, 1.7 beta is still the newest, I just had the classic theme on my computer when I made this. Also it was a different computer, and there are now more codes I believe.

that's pretty tight dude. what else is new in the 1.7 version? is it just a cheat upgrade?

There are lots of new things with 1.7. For one it runs and loads faster. The layout looks the same but there are a lot of little things thrown in that you gotta look for.
It tends to be less glitchy as well, and crashes on you less, so you can play easier.
I highly recommend getting 1.7, for the amount of bugs fixed from 1.6
