i believe this is a dance that princes bopha performed in the enchanted forest movie in a short version. my ma told me it's called bogom sasarith dance which can be a group dance similiar to tep monorom where the devidas get together for prayer and worship to 3 gods, preah reach (vishnu), preah brohm (brahma) and preah keo (shiva)

wow...beautiful music. The Sralai at 6:20 is very entrancing. I guess that was the purpose when they started to pray. Very graceful how the male and female danseurs were in sync with each other. This is how harmony between earth and heaven is communicated through dance. Everyone with the same moves moving in harmony. Thanks for sharing.

What is "Barang Ku Satuka"? I know what Satuka is but this piece is not it, and not sure what "Barang" is, I have to see it written in Khmer.
I also had learned this Bourng Sourng dance a few years back but never had more than a few people to have this kind of group choreography. The movement is repetitive because you have to it 4 times in the 4 different directions. My teacher was a man and only one of a few men that's practicing Khmer classical dance.

DuongDara where are you from ?
Boroswa, I apologize, it is not your english. Your english is perfect just your interest and good knowledge of the khmer classical dances that makes me wonder because people of new generation especially the ones from America might not know or care that much about their great heritage and culture. Thanks.

Dear Boroswa, Robam Boung Soung is my favorite Khmer classical dance, the lyrics is so beautiful. It takes 16 dancers to perform it in synchronizing moves, hands and feet movements at the same time. I love the end because of the drum! By the way Are you from Long Beach, California or are you from Kumpuchia because the way you communicate with other uploaders, you seem to be someone from Cambodia. Thank you for sharing one of the greatest dance and culture on EARTH!

Starting at 6:25, the sralay is played very beautifully, I never heard it sound so wonderful. But before, the music is too loud and the singing is distorted :(

haha I'm so sorry about the music being too loud. I didn't know I had my volume output set to a high number, but as for the distortion it originally sounded like that :(
