The TASTE EMCEES is a multi talented and diverse group composed of six established emcees from the Midwest area who prides themselves on community empowerment/activism. Living by the motto, UNITE OR DIE, the TASTE EMCEES uses their lyrical talent and verbal expression as a way to broadcast what is going on in the poverty-stricken neighborhoods of America. The TASTE EMCEES consists of VIVA FIDEL, a well known revolutionary emcee with thought provoking lyrics which calls for his people to understand and decipher the institutional restraints that hold them back, who has been in the entertainment business since 1993. ARMAGIDEON, a rugged Midwest emcee and film maker who has traveled the majority of the world displaying his GOD given gift of speaking to the masses through rhymes and film documentaries. KING TONE, a multi skilled genius who has mastered both side(s) of the game (streets and business) whose lyrical content speaks an urban tale with the ultimate climax being the prosperity of his people through knowledge of self. KNOWLEDGE DIVINE ALLAH (1D), a prolific MC/producer, whose hunger for Hip Hop keeps his focus on making krunk, conscious music, and reestablish Rap music as a tool to teach the poor, uneducated, young people through raw lyrics. G. MURRAY, a founding father and original member of the TASTE EMCEES.G. MURRAY has played a major role in the development of the group's social status and whose verbal word play leaves spectators speechless but with a plate full of food for thought. Last but not least we have JAE KLASSICK, an emcee whose cutthroat lyrical mastermind allows him to express his diversity and intelligence through revolutionary anthems when collaborated with the TASTE EMCEES. The TASTE EMCEES have more than just hot beats and raw lyrics because they speak for a socio-economical change that is a necessity for the survival of their people and the community as a whole. The latest project by the TASTE EMCEES which is entitled THE WAKE UP CALL: PREPARE FOR DRAMA, expresses the dyer need for community, institutional and governmental restructuring to form a balance between the working class, poor and the rich. The TASTE EMCEES demand for their people to wake up and prepare to fight for survival in order to secure the safety and future prosperity of our children, our childrens children and so forth. With tracks like GANGSTA which exposes the threat of the want-to-be gangster mentality and its negative effects on our youth and overall mind state of the people, AVOID THE RAIN which is a street tale describing the story of a young black male trying to stay positive while surrounded by negative influences in the everyday world, HUSTLE ON which is a classic Hip Hop ballad about the daily hustle of life from the day to the night and then there is tracks like BREAK BOYS and TEAR IT UP which takes a journey back to the birthing days of Hip Hop with old school simulated beats and over ground breaking lyrical assaults by the members of the TASTE EMCEES. The album is not your average rap music; it is more of plea for the people to get motivated and initiate a change through the Hip Hop movement to ensure a better world for our children in the near future.

I admire the fact that these Emcees are speaking on REALITY, rather then the fantasy and pleasures that shackles the minds of the masses, we should RESPECT emcees who deserve it, those who speak TRUTH into action (except the part about School, get your own education fuck the education system, learn what you can but don't rely on anyone to educate you but YOU)
