I have had many fords before. I hate the look of them, i hate the enginges and i hate the quality. I like dodges way more. I currently own a 2007 dodge ram with a HEMI engine and i like driving it 20x's better.

Haha...I heard no good points as to why I shouldn't buy one of these. So I went out and bought one myself (not really I had one already). I am in NC, on the eastern coast near the beach so It's not cold here. When my car is in park I can rev the engine to way over 3,000 RPMs. You have a rental car DUMBASS! go out and check a new or not very used model and tell me the same story. I do agree that the stereo and heat are good...so don't bash a whole model based off of you playing with a rental.

Yeah the 06 Fusions are way different than the 08. Seems they worked lots of the little weird things out now. I like them better than the Accords personally.

Belt noises? Belts need to be replaced now and then. Is also a rental. And dickwads like you reving it up on a cold start might be part of the reason that it has problems. I don't see what is wrong for the shifter

Uh, the engine, transmission, and chassis are lifed straight out of the 1st gen Mazda6 in 2.3L auto Fusions...so don't knock Ford unless you know who's making what...

I've followed the Fusion since its inception 3 years ago and this is the first negative review I've come across. I have a used rental car w/105k miles (Ford Contour) and had very few problems and just bought an off-lease Milan 2.3 to replace it and love it. So, maybe its you and not the car...just sayin...oh yeah, and there's a ton of cars that have a 3,000 rpm rev limiter in park. This is to PROTECT THE ENGINE FROM HARMFUL OVER-REVVING WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE.
