This beautiful clip is from the Cucumber Castle tv movie 1969. The song is penned by the brothers Gibb, aka The Bee Gees. Lulu was married to Maurice Gibb at that time and also joined him in the film.

  • A wonderful song by a pretty Lulu. A good rendition of the old Bee Gees classic.

  • DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE ESTHER AND ABI OFARIM V ERSION?

THIS SONG WAS WRITTEN BY THE BEEGEES WHO, BY BIRTH, ARE CELTS!!!

THEY WUZ BORN ON THE ISLE OF MAN, ONE OF THE OLDEST COUNTRIES IN THE ANGLOCELT ISLES, OR BRITISH ISLES,IF YOU LIKE. BUT THEY GREW UP IN ENGLAND SO, I SUPPOSE, ONE COULD CALL THEM ANGLOCELT! WHO CARES? THE BEEGEES WERE, AND ARE, BRILLIANT.

  • Nina Simone sang another fine version of this song.

  • She floats like a butterfly in this video!

  • Found in the film Melody sung by the Bee Gees .Brilliant film, buy on Amazon.

Very good comment Mzpenndragon. A lot of modern singers mumble, gurgle, warble and distort the lyrics to such an extent that what is being sung is indecipherable. Lulu shows how to sing correctly. This is class.

  • Great song this is and Lulu sings it very beautifully. Please check out my cover version.

Yes this was written by the Bee Gees. A very underrated piece of music that is never played on any radio station or featured on TV for that matter. A lot of the Bee Gees material pre Saturday Night Fever was arguably better, in my opinion.

  • this song belongs to esther ofarim

  • was this song writen by the bee gees
