This contemporary red and gold coloured necklace features beads made of turquoise(stabilised & dyed) from China, carved bone beads from Indonesia, resin from Australia, glass beads I brought back from Venice in 1987. The red a tones are contrasted by gold coloured "snake beads" and timber gold disks from Indonesia. The good-luck charm coin pendant is an antique piece (definitely no replicate which I picked it up on a market in Singapore in 1992. Like all my necklaces this unique statement necklace is a collection of beads across space and time!
