Uses UDK (UnrealEngine3) for high-end real-time visualization. UDK is extended with a custom threaded UDP receiver to allow for communication with the simulation software which also controls the haptic active flight stick.

myCopter - Enabling Technologies for Personal Aerial Transportation Systems. The project aims to pave the way for Personal Aerial Vehicles to be used by the general public within the context of a Personal Aerial Transportation System. The MPI for Biological Cybernetics will design and evaluate novel concepts for Human-Machine Interfaces to support the naïve user in controlling a PAV using haptic devices.
