  • Aarnoud you cast a spell on me

this is on of youtube's greatest moments

  • This is definitely an instrument you could get into. You literally play the music with your whole being, not just your hands! The coordination is amazing, and the tone of the instrument is wonderful!

  • Great playing.

  • Well played my friend! :D

  • your vivid interpretations compensate the sound quality (which is not THAT bad, btw).

Thank you very much! I liked your interpretation of BWV 538 also very much!

  • Wonderful!

Love the color-coded keys on that organ.

    Just like a harp!

(I must always watch at my pedaling.)

  • I think I will never understand what is going on in Bach's music.. It is haunting.

  • @Esosphere I was an organ builder :). But it's not the reason, that I personally like the instrument "noise". It makes the performance sound "real" and live. It is everywhere, also the orchestra. In this case I agree, the mikes are maybe a bit too close to the mechanism (case), unlike in the other recording of Mr. Groen here. Besides - funny to speak about "live" music, while listening to it on YT! Haha! All we like sheep! Have gone astray!!

  • @Esosphere

It's normal and part of tracker action organs. What's ridiculous about that?

  • professional audio recording engineers can remove glenn gould humming and pedal clatter from.. the recording

  • I especially like the part between 0:26 and 0:35. Pure magic!

  • Stupid organ builders...can't get rid of that clatter noise...

    this is ridiculous
