why the freak does it matter if it's christian, buddhist, athiest or anything for that matter? it's not about religion, it's about helping CHILDREN live a HEALTHY life. You people are insane for caring so much about the religion behind it! It's about changing a life, and being able to do it via this organization. You people are dumb.

I took a recent trip to Burundi Africa with world vision and got to see how the funds they are receiving are being used. its truly amazing how much they are doing for the people who live there. Obviously such a large organization is not going to be able to give all of the donations to aid…most charities do not do that. but the money they do give makes a huge difference. and by the way the money they spend on making videos like this will only influence more people to donate more money.

@Deredbaron : Are you kidding? Where does World Vision get the people to do the actual work of changing lives? From volunteers - AND from staff. The CEO of World Vision Canada is paid 184 000 per year, the lowest salary of a CEO for a billion dollar charity. World Vision uses 82% directly to fund their programs, 6% for admin, and 12% for fundraising. They also win transparancy awards every year for full annual reports telling donors where the money went. One of the ONLY charities that do so

Where does World Vision get the money to pay for this ad? How do they pay their executives hundreds of thousands of dollars a year? Not all of the donations go towards aid...

I do think everyone should realize that World Vision uses donations for food, water, education, empowerment and child protection. They do not use donations to build churches. If a community would like to explore more on the Christian faith witnessed through action, they partner with churches who will come and mission to communities. AFTER they are sustainable.

The Christian charities are often the ones that have the msot impact because they not only help those in poverty but give them new hope and truth: the promise of Jesus.

@zana120 some people cant help it. they are born into that life. God blessed us with a nice home and modern life. the least we could do is help the others. not helping just shows that you dont care about those people in that video. </3

@megsanmakeup actually. it does matter buddy. non christian organizations could teach those people wrong things. they have good values and intentions. those people we can trust because they serve the Lord.
