  • I wrote an article on my blog about the nonsense of deep frying a turkey. IT's okay, but it's not anything to write home about. It's just too much trouble really.

  • Watching Good Eats is like watching a cross between America's test Kitchen and Mr. Wizard's World. Part Home Ec Class, part Science Class.

  • Alton's my hero. I got to meet him at a book signing and he's such an awesome person. It was at a local bookstore on a school night and because it was getting so late in the evening, he had the line re-arranged so all the kids in elementary and middle school got moved to the head of the line so they could get home at a decent time.
