  • Jerome is a great player and no I didn't win the GFA (but I've won prizes in Tokyo and made finals in several others IGCs so I'm not a complete novice) but I think YOU miss the point. If a video is posted it is open to relevant, constructive criticism. Feel free to watch mine and criticise away. If we can't get onto a forum and debate the merits or otherwise of a performance what is the point? Or should I just switch my brain off and mindlessly concede that this is the greatest performance ever?

  • (1/2) It doesn't sound strange. It is a good point. One thing a lot of top players do is to practice without applying full pressure with the left hand so that the notes are just buzzing slightly and consistently. Then you just apply a little more pressure so that the buzz stops and then you've found the minimum pressure you need to play.

  • Ατ 1:56 i think the chord contains D natural and not Db. However ,interesting fingering!!!

  • Il était certainement inutile d'en faire autant dans le romantisme exacerbé !!! La partition parle d'elle même. Écouter pour cela l'interprétation d'Alvaro Pierri.

  • A moving rendition.. Some may say a little overcooked.. He feels the form in such a dramatic way it cant fail but capture some of that magic in Jerrrome's expresions.. You can see his cpnnection with the music and he makes the most of every turn. I really love this version more than any others I have heard. If only everyone could produce such a sound partnership.

  • absolutely the best performance of this work. i've search for others, and there's no other as good as this one

  • Watch.. watch his eyes.. feel the music, feel the emotion..

  • So much feeling that it inspires me.

  • I don't believe that there is anyone on the world can dislike this magnificent work

becouse if you dont feel it you dont understand it

that mean that your not alive

  • he plays with such emotion and love for this beautiful piece of music. He is in the music and not the audiance he is a true peformer, something i have yet to learn.
