PIT BULL BLUES by John Shipe
People see me walking down the street they all run and hide.

I used to take it personally now I take it in strides.

I got nothing against no one I wouldn't hurt a fly.

People seem to think I'm mean and here's why, and here's why

I'm a pitbull, a big brown red nose pitbull, a tooth baring muscle bound pitbull I look like I can tear the seal off a loco motive freight train.

People park three spaces away when I'm waiting in the car.
All the kids in the neighborhood they never walk through my yard.
And there's a rumor floating around the county that I ate three cats.

But I swear from the bottom of my K9 heart I didn't do that.

Nooo I didn't do that.

But I'm a pitbull, a big brown red nose pitbull,
A tooth baring muscle bound pitbull, I look Like I can dig a hole through a concrete wall.

yaaa.

I got these pitbull blues all I want to do is sniff your shoes. I aint no killer hound though I'm the friendliest dog in town.

The shear sound of my bark can break through artic ice.

Deep down I'm a pussy cat, I'm just trying to be nice.

In case you didn't notice I'm wagging my tail at the speed of light.

But no matter what I do I'm accused of looking for a fight.

Awwe....what a great video and song. I wish they didn't get such a bad wrap though...that's so unfair....not bad dogs, bad owners! GREAT job of finding forever loving homes for all these sweet and precious dogs! Love them all!!! 5/5*

Good to see animals get a good home.

I am getting angrier by the minute at the stupidity of people not neutering their dogs. Other issues the BSL, pet shops, dog fighting etc. TIME FOR US ALL TO UNITE AND CHANGE THE WORLD FOR OUR FUR BUDDIES.

@bpalmire Oh and one more thing, the breed isn't called American red nose pit bull terrier, it's just called American Pit Bull Terrier. "Red nose" and "blue nose" are just different varietys, just like chocolate labs and yellow labs are varietys of the labrador retreiver.

@bpalmire Actually, the reason the AKC doesn't accept the APBT as a breed is because wayy back when breed groups were trying to get the APBT accepted, the AKC said "We don't want a breed with the name pit bull in it. Change it to American Staffordshire Terrier and we'll accept it." Some people agreed, and some people said no. The one breed then became two, and have been bred separately for so long now that they look different and have different breed standards. Please do YOUR research.

I like the video but afraid you are WRONG! The American red nose pitbull terrier IS INTACT A BREED! the other breeds mentioned are just that their own breed..... please do your research.... the only reason anyone doesn't consider it a breed is because the American kennel club does not recognize it as such because the breed has not been established long enough, but IT IS a breed.... the PROPER American red nose pitbull terrier is a mix of staffordshire terrier, American bulldog, and bull mastif..

id love to see the law come and try to take my dogs. i will die fighting for them. they will have to pry their leash from my cold dead hands befor i give them up. ill sit in jail for years. thats how much my dogs mean to me. any 1 else feel the same way?
