its not a federal law for some one to suppress a weapon. NOW it is in most state against the law to use a suppressor unless u have a class 3 license i know my state (michigan) is disputing about this issue but i know Louisiana and some other southern states do allow a suppressor and as for the location of buying this airsoft suppressor airsoft gi just added it a few weeks ago

@ShottysGotShots No its not the JBU... Echo 1 officially released a suppressor for their M28... It has Force Recon engravings and is 12" long, compared to the JBU which has no engraving and is 9.5"... You can get it on ASGI

@MegaAirsoftAddict You can put a foam filled silencer on a real gun and it will silence it for at least 1 shot thus Federal crime if you do not have Class 3 to own it
