i got a wii and the games i have arent really at all kiddy, but i also have a 360 and my son likes playing some cookie monster game on the kinect and viva pinata. so is the 360 kiddie?

Must be, according to their logic. But of course, they would just argue that the majority of Wii games are kiddy, justifying them calling the whole system kiddy while arguing that the 360 has more mature titles than kiddy ones.

I'm a terrible father for admitting this but...my ten year old daughter has already beaten Resident Evil 5, Saints Row 3, Halo Reach, and a lot of other "mature" (and "kiddy") games. She has tried her hardest but she can't beat any of the Mario Galaxy or Zelda games. Nintendo games aren't like most games this gen. They don't push you to the ending. To beat a Nintendo game, you're gonna need some gaming skill.

If these are true for you, then you're not mature enough to play it.

Go back to COD and other games with just explosions, crappy stories, blood, guts and swearing.

You know. the ones designed for people with short attention spans. That sounds like it's more your style.

@d21lewis I disagree with you on Mario Galxy 2 . I can easily see kids beating that game . It's not hard . I beat it quickly in a week or so . 100% - ing the game takes longer obviously. Other then that i agree 100% . There is no hope of the kid me beating a zelda game
