Sheep can provide a farm with income from the sale of lambs for meat and the sale of wool for use in textiles and other products. This video explains the shearing process as it is done at Kline Creek Farm, an 1890s living history farm, located in West Chicago, IL. This is a nice video but your facts are wrong. First it is the New Zealand method developed by Godrey Bowen. Second the good experienced shearers can shear a sheep in less than two minutes and the best are easy under a minute. Check the record books, eight minutes a sheep will only make a shearer poor.
