nice.

America really knew how to make trucks back then. And they looked so cool! Today, we're lumbered with these bloody awful "euro" looking trucks. No looks, no chrome.

The pedal on the left is just for starting on hills by the way.:)

That's great! I first met Jim about 18 years ago at George Humphrey's.
He is truly a very kind and very talented man.

Is the right stick like a low and high for each speed?
cobra3289 1 month ago
@cobra3289 That's pretty much the idea, except with a Mack 9 speed duplex. I believe you don't use the the low position on the auxiliary in combination with 5th in the main box.
Mack also had the duplex called a 10 speed in which you could split 5th gear in the main box. I think I'm right on this. The only Mack duplex I ever drove was a 10 speed.

Nice video. And no annoying music. Thanks. Love the old B models. I know you were not driving in Yarmouth Ma on Cape Cod. I for sure would have seen this truck. Maybe you could mount a seat with a seat belt in the back of your pickup for outside shots.

@capesquirt Thanks for the kind words.
I'm actually thinking of modifying a Dodge Caravan with sort of a pickup body.
If the cops see me riding in the back of a minivan with no roof, so what.
