@TheDevilBreaker Wow, thats Amazing, how do you just write to Stan Lee, and ask for something, and then get it. Thats pretty freakin unbelievable. I wish I could write celebrities or CEO's and get things changed.

Stan wanted to go back to writing Peter Parker single for a while because he missed the old days, the DIFFERENCE is that he wasnt being a dick about it like Joe Quesada!
After sometime of matching current strips to Brand New Day (sort of) the same fans that wrote to marvel about changing back, also wrote back to Stan Lee requesting the same change for his Amazing Spider-Man strip. THATS been around as long as the comic. If you wana see it go to Spider-Man Crawl Space .com

The Newsstrip is where Spider-Man got married. Then it followed up in the comics for two reasons. 1) the publicity, and 2) because Peter Parker and Mary Jane were being shown more and more that they were meant for each other.
Anyway in the strip and comic, it happened in 1987, and After OneMoreDay, the newsstrip current storyline went back to the past to write stories of Peter wen he was in college but Peter woke up with MJ 2 yrs later because it was a dream. wana see it?

@TheDevilBreaker when did the retcon happen?
I never think of Superheroes "aging". I mean how am I supposed to believe that Peter is like 35 when someone like Aunt May is still alive??? Peter was worried about her because of her age when he was like 15. WTF? Seriously. Always worrying about her heart and shit. He doesn't look older, either.
When it comes to OMD and BND, I don't have any hatred left. I've been pissed off about this for years now and I'm done. I just wanna forget it and move on.

@Matriculon I think alot of people feel the same way about the conclusion to the clone saga. Unfortunately. Well the debate of whether or not super heroes should age will prob go on for eternity but, you made your point and so have I. However, either way I think Joe Quesada does a sloppy job. Also 1 more thing...Aunt May is supposed to be dead ! they keep trying to get rid of her but someone always brings her back. Thats a big pet peeve I have. I can't yet accept any Spider-Man after BND.

@wherewhenwhat I wish I could move on, maybe I will turn over to Ultimate, but i hate the idea of Pete being a teenager for the next 25 or so years. So for me Spider-Man stories are stuck in a state of limbo and until they give me a good reason to buy' em, i won't. Now MC2 was a word I could deal with, but they just had to cancel that, and with little hope of a return. : (

@wherewhenwhat a major prob I have with the current ASM run, is that Harry Osborn is around, and Norman will prob pop back up. I think If marvel truly wants to move Spidey forward, they need to at least ignore those characters for quite a while, including MJ.

@wherewhenwhat yeah, I know what you mean, and I think everyone agrees with you there. And Aunt May really pisses me off. For all this time that I read Spider-Man, I never really cared about her. I mean she was part of the story and always there, but I can't really say that I ever cared about Aunt May when I picked up a Spider-Man comicbook.

@Matriculon It's not that I hate May, it' just I feel shes no longer necessary, entertaining or effective so why is she still being included? Ya know? It's like this re-occurring madness, that some people think May is imperative to the core of any Spider-Man series, and my response is no shes not.
