  • the 2002 (most powerful continental) makes 275. the marks might make a bit more. but no, these cars are not old man cars, unless the old men are great drivers. continentals are tons of fun to drive. just a bit too heavy, and fwd. other than that, they're perfect.

  • lol yea i know the 99 -02 continental's had 275

    but i have the 260hp 98

  • whats this song, haha

  • the song is by A.F.I.

    and is called prelude 12/21

  • @zeteclover lol fun as hell is an understatement some people think I would be upset that I cant power slide without a massive fishtail... Its fun as fuck to throw it around a corner and struggle to keep it from hitting parked cars or the curb lool... And beleive that when you DO power - fishtail like a maniac, the heads turn and STAY turned!

  • nice i have a 99 with 275 hp and love the car great video

  • Yes, as far as I know every other fairly recent 4.6 from Ford has driven the rear wheels, but don't forget, the Intech is a different engine from the one in the Towncar or even the Triton in the F-150 (the smaller Triton). It's a 32v instead of the 24v configuration. Honestly, I have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to make it fwd. There is no torque steer. I don't know how they did it, but I can floor it through a sharp corner, and feel nothing. At least it's predictable fwd.

  • I never knew that the Continental's were fwd. That seems so backwards. Isn't everything else that came out of FoMoCo with the 4.6 rwd? Being fwd, do they have a lot of torqe steer?
