For those willing to try my defensive tips:

1) loosen your grip on the controller and press its button's LIGHTLY!

(No .. I'm serious. I used to wrestle with my controller until I learned to keep a cool head while defending & building an attack)

2) instead of HOLDING contain button, TAP IT REPEATEDLY while closing down an opponent.

3) for most precise and "clean" tackling learn to RELEASE sprint button when going for a tackle. (The golden tip, and the most difficult to adjust to)

@billyboy961 Surely you can answer that yourself? because it would give people using legacy defending an unfair advantage....If you were a pro at defending with the new system then i doubt you would be complaining about it! Anyway personally (even though im kinda crap) I think the new defending is a lot more fun, realistic and puts a lot more strategy into the gameplay!

@ssj9997 dont matter, 2 options for defending while playing offline so why not allow them both online for the people that prefer it

@billyboy961 no, it had no strategy or skill to it! i believe you are only saying this coz you cant master the new defending....its actually a better system once you get used to it!
