@TheHolySpirit I doubt that he does mean well. He is a member of the Establishment and hand in glove with the money men. His Cathedral only runs because it is in receipt of cash from these money men. So, obviously he will have their interests at heart.
The Anglican Church does not represent Jesus as he really was. it is the religion of Constantine and the poor relation of Rome.
St Pauls is a millstone round the neck of society. If it fell into ruin I for one would shed no tears.

@02Blackbeard "This Church belongs to God". He probably means well, but he doesn't seem to know what a Church is, which is odd for a Bishop! Church: In its most general sense, the religious society founded and established by Jesus Christ, to receive, preserve, and propagate his doctrines and ordinances. Nothing to do with any buildings or ownership in that definition ;) If God indeed exists at all, the building itself is completely irrelevant, surely? It's the PEOPLE of the Church that matter.

I think it costs £17 to go into St Pauls - why? the COE is the state religion of England - thats why they are whigeing that they are loosing £20k a week.

Church belongs to God??? Sorry, old fool, but there is no God. God is a morarch writ large in the sky and the establishment are the angels (lol). It's a top down pyramid.
He wants to avoid violence by the protesters leaving. This dude is transparent. He won't say that there will be no eviction.
The Establishment seek to MANAGE protest, and so pull its teeth.
