Ahhh those were the days... I still think there is something really sexy about a guy in black shoes with pencil grey socks.... much better than the 'white socks' obsession that seemed to kick in....
Way, way back in the 1980s, Clarks shoes had a different colour pice of plastic in the sole to denote the width fitting - yellow stood for D, blue for E, green for F, and red for G; wonder what colour stood for C - I guess it was either brown or orange.
