@ElijahBailey2000 My aunt is originally from London, she's lived in California for the last 50 years, since she was 17, the locals still always think she's from either South America, Australia or New England, as if those three places even sound remotely alike!!! To us she sounds completely California American!!

@ElijahBailey2000 its because the accents are somewhat similar in tone and the lingo is even the same in some parts. I cant tell you how many times I have to tell people that in Saints Row 2 and 3 that your char can have a cockney accent and not an ozzie accent.
