HDV-HC9 camera test

well i got a new camera and i decided i was going to test it. the focus was the camera all the colours were done in iMovie. the music is from the soundtrack of shrek and is called true loves first kiss.i love my new camera, the only problem is there's no wide select button on it but thats okay its not too hard to change it.

i tried a focus transition i learned in school.

Hi, i want to get one of this, but tell about the manual focus, do you recomend it?

You can change the focus on the screen or with the half-ring at the left of the camera? Thanks!

Hello, sorry it took so long to get back to you. But, yes, this is a great camera, I recommend it. You can focus it with the ring on side. I believe you can make that ring do focus, exposure and one other thing, I can't remember off the top of my head. But this is a very good consumer camera for a quite decent price. If you're in the market, this would be a GREAT way to go.

i'm not sure i use a mac, and that uses firewire.

do u have any idea on how much percent of video cameras will be because if they are really cheap i might be able to afford a good bag for it. o and i heard that you need a special card thing for it to be transfered to your computer or can you use a cable?

ye but everything electronic is gonna go up in price once the old stocks cleared so i dont think ill have enough money but this picture is by far good enough

definatly worth it, the HD is amazing, but CES (i think thats what its called) is coming up soon, are you sure you don't wanna wait for that?

I heard it's really good for like humming birds flapping their wings, you can slow down the motion and speed it up on your camera after filming, and dolphins too! all the high speed recording :) it's brilliant on how technology has changed :)

the only effect is black and white and thats at the beginning, its always good not to mess with your effects on the camera itself. that way you have all original footage, say you shoot something in black and white and you go to edit and you wish you woulda shot colour. if you just add the effect in afterward no regrets.
