In this video I catch a few bass just before dark. They were loving that snag proof frog. For fishing reports and fishing guide info on northern California lakes visit www.russnyders.com

  • I cant really tell what it is that I'm seeing when i look at the water. What was that stuff you were fishing on? Algae?

  • @AWilderFate there are quite a few weed beds under the water, but nothing really on the surface. I'm just walking the frog in open water

  • you were you a snagproof frog? have you tried the dean rojas spro frog yet.?

  • Yeah, the Dean Rojas Spro frog works great. It already comes stock with longer legs and great hooks. Before the Spro came out I would take the Snag Proof frogs and modify them by painting the belly, switching the hooks out to Gamakatsu EWG's, and taking out the legs and replacing them with longer ones. Now you might as well buy a Spro or a Reaction Innovations Swamp Donkey. I just haven't used up my modified Snag Proofs yet.

  • @TheFrogMaster22 - Haven't tried that Quantum fishing rod yet. I still have the older Dean Rojas Signature Series Rod, with the cork grips. Let me know what you think of that rod after you get a chance to use it a little bit.

  • @russnyder the tour rojas... RED??? i just ot it but there is ice so i havent got to try it..

  • too many rods, not enough deck room! hah gotta love froggin

  • nice hendrix shirt

  • NOOO not Kermit!!

  • Quantum Dean Rojas signature series frog rod with a 7:1 energy reel and 50lb braid. The rod has a light tip which improves casting accuracy as well as the ability to walk the frog. It also has a very strong backbone which is necessary for solid hook sets.
