you are so right man dad was 74 years olds and im only 22 i see the same thing with my sisters kids they curse out the police she go to jail and the kids do the same thing smart mouth i slap my nephew in the mouth the other day for talking while grown people talking and some parents dont understand you dont have to say anything to a kid get you a look let a kid ask me why im a old man child rised by him and his friends respect your elders i caught my niece throwing rocks a old man i beat her ass

Bottom line, age does not determine a respect thing, kids these days act on their own, i have had friends raised with the upmost respect upbringing and they themselves have the worst life i've ever seen. Kids these days grow up alot faster and react on their own, I'm a young adult, i have respect for elders but i don't care what authority someone has, no one will disrespect me in life, and if they do - karmas a bitch.

people these days, they like to abuse their rights that were given to them or talk down to younger people because they have "been around the block" a few times... It doesn't matter your age, knowledge is knowledge, if you know something don't down talk me because i'm younger. Hey i'm 16 yearsold, i listen to rap/dubstep and those genre of music - I'm a responsible, reliable, and very respectable person, but i grew up faster than most and was forced to act more grown than what i am, i respect people if they respect me. I don't care if it is a teacher, police officer, elder, whoever... The moment you disrespect me, is the moment that i lose respect for you. I am one of the few kids nowadays who was raised well, I got spanked a few times but i dont blame my parents, i turned out fine ;-)
